Darkest manmade substance
The darkest man-made substance is a low density carbon nanotube array created by researchers from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Zu-Po Yang, James A. Bur, Prof. Shawn-Yu Lin) and Rice University (Dr. Lijie Ci, Prof. P.M. Ajayan) (both USA). The substance demonstrated reflectance of 0.045% when tested at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on 24 August 2007.
Largest biryani
The largest biryani dish weighed 14.060 tonnes (30,996 lb) and was prepared by the Hindustan Times and Kohinoor Foods Ltd. (both India) in Delhi, India on 1 March 2008.

The youngest university professor is Alia Sabur (USA, b. 22 February 1989), who was appointed as a full-time faculty Professor of the Department of Advanced Technology Fusion at Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea, with effect from 19 February 2008, aged 18 years 362 days. Ms Sabur's official title is: International Professor as Research Liaison with Stony Brook University (New York, USA).
